# Mesh Gradients Ultimate vs Placy AR

The clearest difference is rating: Placy AR at 5.0 against Mesh Gradients Ultimate's 4.7. Mesh Gradients Ultimate's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mesh Gradients Ultimate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Placy AR sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Placy AR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mesh Gradients Ultimate has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
