# CDL Help vs CDL Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: CDL Help at every 2 days against CDL Prep's every 3 months. CDL Help also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). CDL Prep's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 55%) and chart position (#198 vs unranked). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Help sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and CDL Prep sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Help holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5.4K and 3.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of CDL Help's written reviews are positive against 80% of CDL Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDL Help ships an update every 2 days, CDL Prep every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
