# CDL Help vs BookHouse

The clearest difference is rating: CDL Help at 4.9 against BookHouse's 3.0. CDL Help also leads on ratings volume (5.4K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). BookHouse's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Help sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and BookHouse sells 30 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Help holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Help has 5.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CDL Help ships an update every 2 days, BookHouse every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
