# CDL Help vs DMV Test Helper

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DMV Test Helper at 100% against CDL Help's 55%. CDL Help's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Help sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and DMV Test Helper sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Help holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Help has 5.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of CDL Help's written reviews are positive against 100% of DMV Test Helper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDL Help ships an update every 2 days, DMV Test Helper every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
