# CDL Help vs PermitGo

CDL Help and PermitGo both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PermitGo's written reviews are positive against 55% of CDL Help's. PermitGo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). CDL Help's advantage is ratings volume (5.4K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Help sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and PermitGo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for CDL Help against 5.0 for PermitGo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Help has 5.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of CDL Help's written reviews are positive against 100% of PermitGo's.

CDL Help ships an update every 2 days, PermitGo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
