# Sugary vs Tolpar

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tolpar at free against Sugary's free with in-app purchases. Sugary's advantage is ratings volume (502 vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Sugary against 5.0 for Tolpar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sugary has 502 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Sugary's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tolpar's.

Sugary ships an update weekly, Tolpar monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
