# WHOU.live vs Speed Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Speed Tracker at 5.0 against WHOU.live's 2.4. Speed Tracker also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months). WHOU.live's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WHOU.live sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month and Speed Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WHOU.live has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WHOU.live ships an update every 4 months, Speed Tracker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
