# YumRead vs RosyRead

The clearest difference is ads: RosyRead at none against YumRead's shown. RosyRead also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). YumRead's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 29) and review sentiment (82% vs 71%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YumRead sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and RosyRead sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for YumRead against 4.6 for RosyRead. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YumRead has 1.4K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of YumRead's written reviews are positive against 71% of RosyRead's.

YumRead ships an update every 2 weeks, RosyRead every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
