# MODA vs Marky

The clearest difference is ads: MODA at none against Marky's shown. Marky's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MODA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Marky sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MODA ships an update every 3 weeks, Marky daily. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
