# mPan vs Hidden Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: mPan at every 9 days against Hidden Camera's every 4 months. mPan also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). Hidden Camera's advantage is ratings volume (180 vs 20). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mPan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Hidden Camera sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for mPan against 4.5 for Hidden Camera. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidden Camera has 180 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two.

mPan ships an update every 9 days, Hidden Camera every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
