# V2Lite VPN vs MAX VPN

The clearest difference is rating: V2Lite VPN at 4.6 against MAX VPN's 3.0. V2Lite VPN also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 2) and chart position (#28 vs #85). MAX VPN's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. V2Lite VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. MAX VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

V2Lite VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V2Lite VPN has 3.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of V2Lite VPN's written reviews are positive against 60% of MAX VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

V2Lite VPN ships an update every 2 weeks, MAX VPN fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
