# Allergy Tracker° vs Pollen Buddy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Allergy Tracker° at 82% against Pollen Buddy's 33%. Allergy Tracker° also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (158 vs 1). Pollen Buddy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Allergy Tracker° sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Pollen Buddy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pollen Buddy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Allergy Tracker° has 158 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Allergy Tracker°'s written reviews are positive against 33% of Pollen Buddy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Allergy Tracker° ships an update every 2 months, Pollen Buddy every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
