The clearest difference is ads: AKULAR at none against Dimens's shown. AKULAR also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Dimens's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AKULAR ships an update every 6 weeks, Dimens every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
