# Remarko vs EZ2 Write

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: EZ2 Write at 12.0 against Remarko's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remarko sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and EZ2 Write sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
