# GearUP Router vs NoPing

GearUP Router and NoPing both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of GearUP Router's written reviews are positive against 32% of NoPing's. NoPing's advantage is ratings volume (408 vs 68). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GearUP Router sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NoPing sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for GearUP Router against 4.3 for NoPing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoPing has 408 ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of GearUP Router's written reviews are positive against 32% of NoPing's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
