# Fasting Timer & Tracker vs Fastpal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fastpal at weekly against Fasting Timer & Tracker's every 2 months. Fastpal also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fasting Timer & Tracker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Fastpal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Fasting Timer & Tracker against 5.0 for Fastpal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fastpal has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Fasting Timer & Tracker ships an update every 2 months, Fastpal weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
