# Self vs Endless Rumination

The clearest difference is update cadence: Endless Rumination at every 3 weeks against Self's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Self sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Endless Rumination sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Self ships an update every 3 months, Endless Rumination every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
