# CheckMarked vs LocalPass

The clearest difference is update cadence: CheckMarked at every 3 weeks against LocalPass's every 3 months. LocalPass's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CheckMarked ships an update every 3 weeks, LocalPass every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
