# Whiskey Shelf vs Get Allocated

The clearest difference is update cadence: Get Allocated at every 4 days against Whiskey Shelf's every 2 weeks. Whiskey Shelf's advantage is ratings volume (133 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Whiskey Shelf against 4.5 for Get Allocated. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whiskey Shelf has 133 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Whiskey Shelf ships an update every 2 weeks, Get Allocated every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
