# OSLink vs MuMuPlayer

The clearest difference is rating: OSLink at 3.2 against MuMuPlayer's 1.8. OSLink also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (48% vs 25%). MuMuPlayer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OSLink sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MuMuPlayer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OSLink holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OSLink has 39 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of OSLink's written reviews are positive against 25% of MuMuPlayer's.

OSLink ships an update every 5 weeks, MuMuPlayer daily. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
