# Moonlitt vs Yesterday

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Yesterday at none against Moonlitt's 9. Yesterday also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%). Moonlitt's advantage is ratings volume (976 vs 2) and chart position (#71 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moonlitt sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Yesterday asks for nothing beyond the download.

Moonlitt holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moonlitt has 976 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Moonlitt's written reviews are positive against 100% of Yesterday's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Moonlitt ships an update every 11 days, Yesterday every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
