The clearest difference is ads: 族谱 at none against Rocket VPN's shown. 族谱 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Rocket VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

族谱 ships an update every 3 weeks, Rocket VPN every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
