# Apple Spider vs AR Hunter

The clearest difference is update cadence: AR Hunter at every 4 days against Apple Spider's every 2 months. Apple Spider's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apple Spider sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and AR Hunter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Apple Spider against 5.0 for AR Hunter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apple Spider has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Apple Spider ships an update every 2 months, AR Hunter every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
