# Dropset vs Strongsplit

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dropset at free with in-app purchases against Strongsplit's subscription. Dropset also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 53%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dropset sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Strongsplit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dropset holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 96 and 52 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Dropset's written reviews are positive against 53% of Strongsplit's.

Dropset ships an update every 4 days, Strongsplit fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
