# Dropset vs Tidemark

The clearest difference is rating: Tidemark at 5.0 against Dropset's 4.4. Dropset's advantage is ratings volume (96 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dropset sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Tidemark sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tidemark holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dropset has 96 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dropset ships an update every 4 days, Tidemark every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
