# S8 Pool vs 8 Ball Shoot It All

The clearest difference is rating: 8 Ball Shoot It All at 4.7 against S8 Pool's 3.0. 8 Ball Shoot It All also leads on ratings volume (28 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). S8 Pool's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. S8 Pool sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 8 Ball Shoot It All sells 29 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

8 Ball Shoot It All holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 8 Ball Shoot It All has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of S8 Pool's written reviews are positive against 89% of 8 Ball Shoot It All's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

S8 Pool ships an update every 5 weeks, 8 Ball Shoot It All fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
