# Criticless vs Award Expert

The clearest difference is update cadence: Award Expert at every 6 days against Criticless's every 2 weeks. Award Expert also leads on ratings volume (251 vs 45). Criticless's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Criticless sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Award Expert sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Criticless against 4.8 for Award Expert. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Award Expert has 251 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 92% and 93% positive.

Criticless ships an update every 2 weeks, Award Expert every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
