# LDL vs SelfieDog App

The clearest difference is price: LDL at Free against SelfieDog App's $9.99. LDL also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). SelfieDog App's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

LDL is free to download; SelfieDog App costs $9.99 up front. LDL sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SelfieDog App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LDL ships an update every 2 months, SelfieDog App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
