# Pro Dive vs Sym Junk

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sym Junk at every 3 days against Pro Dive's every 5 weeks. Sym Junk also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Dive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Sym Junk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pro Dive ships an update every 5 weeks, Sym Junk every 3 days. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
