The clearest difference is in-app purchases: U at none against Freelancer's 1. U also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). Freelancer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freelancer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. U asks for nothing beyond the download.

U ships an update fortnightly, Freelancer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
