# Barrett vs IMGRADIO

The clearest difference is rating: IMGRADIO at 5.0 against Barrett's 4.4. Barrett's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 35 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IMGRADIO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Barrett has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Barrett ships an update every 2 weeks, IMGRADIO every 35 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
