# QXGPS vs YEGPS

The clearest difference is rating: YEGPS at 5.0 against QXGPS's 1.9. YEGPS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). QXGPS's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (55 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YEGPS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QXGPS has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QXGPS ships an update every 3 weeks, YEGPS every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
