# QXGPS vs LOY

The clearest difference is rating: LOY at 3.0 against QXGPS's 1.9. LOY also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 9%) and ads (none vs shown). QXGPS's advantage is ratings volume (57 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LOY holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QXGPS has 57 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 9% of QXGPS's written reviews are positive against 50% of LOY's.

QXGPS ships an update every 3 weeks, LOY fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
