# AWS SAA vs MS PL

The clearest difference is update cadence: MS PL at every 2 weeks against AWS SAA's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS SAA sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and MS PL sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AWS SAA ships an update every 4 months, MS PL every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
