# Virus Evolution vs Idle Block Master

The clearest difference is rating: Virus Evolution at 4.6 against Idle Block Master's 3.8. Virus Evolution also leads on ratings volume (866 vs 28). Both are free to download. Virus Evolution sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Idle Block Master asks for nothing beyond the download.

Virus Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virus Evolution has 866 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Virus Evolution's written reviews are positive against 44% of Idle Block Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
