# Brushes for Procreate! vs Procreate Brushes · BrushKit

The clearest difference is ads: Procreate Brushes · BrushKit at none against Brushes for Procreate!'s shown. Procreate Brushes · BrushKit also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 72%). Brushes for Procreate!'s advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (198 vs 10). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brushes for Procreate! sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Procreate Brushes · BrushKit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brushes for Procreate! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brushes for Procreate! has 198 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Brushes for Procreate!'s written reviews are positive against 83% of Procreate Brushes · BrushKit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brushes for Procreate! ships an update monthly, Procreate Brushes · BrushKit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
