# Ice Cubes for Mastodon vs Moob

The clearest difference is rating: Ice Cubes for Mastodon at 4.8 against Moob's 4.3. Ice Cubes for Mastodon also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 10) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ice Cubes for Mastodon sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Moob sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ice Cubes for Mastodon holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ice Cubes for Mastodon has 2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Ice Cubes for Mastodon's written reviews are positive against 80% of Moob's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ice Cubes for Mastodon ships an update every 5 days, Moob weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
