# ResX vs Guavo

The clearest difference is rating: ResX at 4.8 against Guavo's 4.2. ResX also leads on ratings volume (609 vs 19) and chart position (#14 vs unranked). Guavo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ResX sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Guavo asks for nothing beyond the download.

ResX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ResX has 609 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of ResX's written reviews are positive against 100% of Guavo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
