# ResX vs DinnerElite

The clearest difference is ads: DinnerElite at none against ResX's shown. DinnerElite also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). ResX's advantage is ratings volume (764 vs 1) and chart position (#14 vs #198). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ResX sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and DinnerElite sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DinnerElite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ResX has 764 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ResX ships an update every 2 weeks, DinnerElite every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
