# UMG vs Bakeet

The clearest difference is rating: Bakeet at 4.3 against UMG's 3.6. Bakeet also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (81 vs 5). UMG's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bakeet holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bakeet has 81 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of UMG's written reviews are positive against 90% of Bakeet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UMG ships an update every 6 weeks, Bakeet every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
