# Mage Survivor vs Wizard Legacy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wizard Legacy at weekly against Mage Survivor's every 5 weeks. Mage Survivor's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (127 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mage Survivor sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Wizard Legacy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mage Survivor holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mage Survivor has 127 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mage Survivor ships an update every 5 weeks, Wizard Legacy weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
