# GlobalComix vs Live Comics

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Live Comics at 100% against GlobalComix's 55%. Live Comics also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). GlobalComix's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 1) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GlobalComix sells 29 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Live Comics sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Comics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GlobalComix has 4.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of GlobalComix's written reviews are positive against 100% of Live Comics's.

GlobalComix ships an update every 9 days, Live Comics every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
