# SeClock vs QR Guard

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: QR Guard at none against SeClock's 1. QR Guard also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SeClock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. QR Guard asks for nothing beyond the download.

SeClock ships an update fortnightly, QR Guard every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
