# air vs Skate Fish

The clearest difference is review sentiment: air at 89% against Skate Fish's 0%. Skate Fish's advantage is price (Free vs $4.99) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 9 months). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Skate Fish is free to download; air costs $4.99 up front. air sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Skate Fish sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skate Fish holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of air's written reviews are positive against 0% of Skate Fish's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

air ships an update every 9 months, Skate Fish every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
