# Gol vs Spokes

The clearest difference is rating: Spokes at 5.0 against Gol's 4.3. Spokes also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). Gol's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 18.5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gol sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Spokes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spokes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gol has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of Gol's written reviews are positive against 100% of Spokes's.

Gol ships an update every 5 days, Spokes every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
