# Scream The Game vs Thumbsi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Thumbsi at fortnightly against Scream The Game's every 6 months. Thumbsi also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 54%). Scream The Game's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (162 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scream The Game holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scream The Game has 162 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Scream The Game's written reviews are positive against 67% of Thumbsi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scream The Game ships an update every 6 months, Thumbsi fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
