# Called vs Nave

Called and Nave both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Nave's written reviews are positive against 75% of Called's. Nave also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Called's advantage is ratings volume (370 vs 5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nave holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Called has 370 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Called's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nave's.

Called ships an update every 4 days, Nave every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
