# Somnee vs Spatial Sleep

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Somnee at 64% against Spatial Sleep's 0%. Somnee also leads on ratings volume (71 vs 11) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). Spatial Sleep's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and monetization model (free vs paid). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spatial Sleep holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Somnee has 71 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Somnee's written reviews are positive against 0% of Spatial Sleep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Somnee ships an update every 2 months, Spatial Sleep every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
