# factiii vs Freedom Chat

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Freedom Chat at 118 against factiii's 3. Freedom Chat also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). factiii's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. factiii sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Freedom Chat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

factiii holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedom Chat has 118 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
