# Greenlane vs The Last Slice

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Last Slice at every 3 weeks against Greenlane's every 6 months. Greenlane's advantage is ratings volume (800 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Greenlane against 5.0 for The Last Slice. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Greenlane has 800 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Greenlane ships an update every 6 months, The Last Slice every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
